Meet one of our esteemed guest instructors, Rosa Noreen!

Rosa Noreen is a dedicated teacher and an elegant performer. Her singular style of belly dance is influenced by her ballet background and years of study of Egyptian dance. Known for her classical lines and friendly approach, Rosa delights students and audiences alike.

Rosa will be teaching Delicious Pauses for a drum solo vs. Delicious Pauses for a lyrical piece or taqsim, creating stunning negative spaces in movement, for which she is famous and has DVD’s out on the topic!

Sign up here to not miss her incredible workshop and later her performance at the Saturday Night gala show!

So you think you can Bellydance?

This year, the Recorded Music Competition has a new twist, with Tribal and Cabaret categories!

Contestants will learn either a mini cabaret (by Sherena) or mini tribal (by Maria Hamer) choreography (approx 1:30-2:00 minutes long) on Friday and then perform it on Sunday.

Contestants will be allowed to finish with their own 2 minutes of music (i.e., drum solo) at the end of the learned piece. This is our very own version of “So you think you can bellydance!”

Do you have what it takes to compete? Join us and register before competition spots fill up!
